Joni Mitchell’s lyric will be remembered as a call to attention during the second wave of the ongoing environmental movement. I painted “Pave Paradise” 30”x40” in anticipation of my solo exhibition intended to educate and encourage the public to plant native plants. It was also shown at the 2020 TD Thor Wealth Management Juried Exhibition: “Quest for the Environment”
