It is great to be back in Haliburton to paint for an entire week! Today I worked on a painting in the series of our meadow being cultivated by Dex the tractor. Only a few decisions left to make in order to ensure that you will look all around the finished work : ) It is still interesting to work with the textured black underpainting. The light colours become lighter and brighter in contrast with the black that peeks through. I will have to try and find black palette paper which might make the decisions easier.
